QD2010 Abstract submission

Abstracts

  • The abstract should occupy a maximum of one A4 page, with margins set to 25mm.
  • All text, equations, figures and references must fit within these margins.
  • Type is to be Times 11 point.
  • Please see the templates below for examples of some text set out in this format, together with how to lay out references.
  • When your abstract is complete please submit it as a PDF file ONLY.
  • Abstracts that do not comply with these instructions may not be considered or may not appear in the abstract book at the conference.
  • Abstract Deadline: 11 December 2009.
  • Abstract Notification: 29 January 2010.

  • Authors visiting the site for the first time should create an account. For returning authors, please log on using your e-mail address and password.
  • Enter relevant details noting that fields denoted with * are mandatory.
  • Enter your abstract title
  • Enter author details - please note that the main author is considered as the corresponding author
  • Upload your abstract as a PDF file ONLY.
  • Submit your submission.
  • An email confirming your successful submission will be sent to the corresponding author with further information.

We are pleased to announce that the proceedings for Quantum Dot 2010 will be published in the Institute of Physics Publishing Journal of Physics Conference Series (JPCS). The JPCS is an open access online journal from the moment of publication and will remain in the domain permanently. It provides massive international exposure and in 2008 JPCS received over 1 million full-text article downloads.

The final paper for contributed and invited talks should be no longer than four pages. Delegates will referee the papers at the conference.
